Play the waiting game til they go to war with someone else and use up those event troops on someone else, then strike. or try to get the enemy to attack you iover a river so they have the big disadvantage.Ĭheck your tribal enemy to see if they have piety and prestige built up. Try to attack from a direction that doesnt cross water. If you are attacking over a river you will get decimated. They are pretty useless unless they have very strong defense abilities to compensate. Dont use those commanders if you can help it. Though, sometimes the AI goes heavy on one flank and can mess you up, but when you regroup and get ready to fight that army again you can change things around to deal with that.Ĭheck your commanders to see if they have the craven trait. I usually put a larger amount of troops in the center with a commander of strong defense abilities.
